4 Signs Your Car Needs Servicing
You don’t need to know exactly what’s wrong to know your vehicle feels different. A new sound, a warning light or a change in how it drives is a good reason to ask for help.
1. Scheduled maintenance is due
A maintenance reminder or a service item due in your records is a reason to book, even if the vehicle seems to be running well.
Follow the schedule for your make, model and driving conditions. Oil colour alone does not tell you when an oil change is due, and a low oil level needs attention rather than simply waiting for the next service.
2. New noises or vibrations appear
A knock, squeal, rattle or vibration can have several causes. Rather than guessing which part needs replacing, note when it happens: during braking, turning, acceleration, idling or at a particular speed.
